Northern Pike (Lucius lucius)

Northern Pike are the most widely distributed freshwater fish in the world. The Northern Pike commonly reaches 20 pounds and the largest recorded specimen weighed in at 55 pounds, 15 ounces. Pike like to eat a lot--mainly fish, but also almost anything with scales, fur, or feathers. The typical northern will devour one-fifth of its body weight in prey every day.
