Meadow Vole (Microtus pennsylvanicus)

Meadow Voles are about 4 inches long with tails measuring 1.5 inches. Their backs and sides are grayish; their bellies are white. They build nests on the ground in clumps of grass. Voles eat grasses and plants and sometimes tree bark.
